Hi!
Nothing to say here :)
Enjoy perusing the most interesting roles..
The Americas
(First!) Senior Recruiter/Head of Talent at LMArena in the Bay Area, CA.
Seed stage ($100M raised!!) company building an open platform where people can compare, contrast, and comment on the world’s leading AI models and how these models react to prompts. This is very cool. The company was founded this year, raised a huge seed round in May, and are clearly growing, and quickly. I’m very excited about this one. Apply here.
TMI Factors: First-in!, Early Stage, Very Cool Use of Tech/Making AI Better, Impressive Backers (a16z, Lightspeed, Felicis, Kleiner Perkins)
(First!) Technical Recruiter at Metaview in San Francisco, CA.
Series A company building tools (notably AI transcribing tools) for recruiters. Knowing this audience, I’m pretty sure most of you have heard of them, if not used them :) They are looking for their first in-house recruiter to focus on technical hiring. You know what I love about this JD, though? The CTO wrote an unapologetic blurb about what it’s like to work with him, and what he expects of someone in this role. It’s honest, and really creates a self-selecting candidate pool of people who are driven by this. No fluff. Apply here.
TMI Factors: First-in!, Early Stage, Build Recruiting for a Company Serving The Recruiting Industry, Love the JD, Solid Backers (Village Global, Plural)
(First!) Head of People at Arch in New York, NY.
Series A fintech platform that automates the management of private investments (like VC, PE, hedge funds, etc). The company is ±120 folks right now, and you’d be joining as their first Head of People to oversee it all. Note: $25M raised, last raise was in 2023, and they have a team of 120. The team feels bloated. Either they are making a lot of money, or perhaps a new round of funding just came in? Either way, hopefully lots to build! Apply here.
TMI Factors: First-in!, Early Stage, Big, Meaty Role, Solid Backers (Craft, Menlo, Quiet Capital, Carta)
(First!) Head of People at Salient in San Francisco, CA.
Series A company building an AI workflow automation platform for auto lenders. Yeah, pretty specific stuff, but given they’ve scaled to $10M ARR in the <2 years they’ve existed and are cash flow positive, it seems like the market is plenty big for them to grow into :) You’d be joining to run everything across Talent and HR. Apply here.
TMI Factors: First-in!, Early Stage, Broad Role (Talent & People), Impressive Backers (a16z, General Catalyst, YC)
(First!) US Talent Recruiter at Symbolica AI in San Francisco, CA.
Series A company that operates as an AI research lab, developing alternative methods to enable logical reasoning in machines (basically, trying to find a way to make AI decision-making less about pattern-matching and more about developing its own structure of though, like humans do). You’d be reporting into the Talent Lead (based in London), and you’d be the first recruiter on the ground in the US - with a focus on building the AI/ML Research team. Very cool. Apply here.
TMI Factors: First-in Region!, Early Stage, Very Cool Tech/Mission, Very Technical Team to Build, Impressive Backers (Khosla, General Catalyst, Abstract)
Director of Talent Acquisition at Function Health in USA (Remote).
Series A healthcare company that offers a subscription model to individuals who want to closely monitor their health. Basically, users get frequent blood tests throughout the year and work with the Function doctors to better understand their health status - and ideally make positive changes to prevent issues down the line. You’d be joining to lead all of TA, inheriting a team that I assume is due to grow rather quickly :) Apply here.
TMI Factors: Early Stage, Interesting Space (B2C Preventative Healthcare - kinda going with the macro-trend towards longevity tech), Impressive Backing ($53M Series A, led by a16z)
EMEA/APAC
Global Director of Talent at Halter in Aukland, NZ.
Series C company that has developed hardware (in the form of a collar) to enable more efficient cattle herding/raising. I’ve written about this company before and I honestly think they are so cool. Basically, all the cows wear a collar, and with the additional sensors and whatnot that are set up around the property, they herd themselves from pasture to pasture without requiring a human to do all the work. Important to note: no cows are harmed in the use of these collars. Anyway, you’d be joining to lead their global talent function. Cool! Apply here.
TMI Factors: Big, Meaty Job, Cool Hardware + Underserved Industry, Move to NZ!, Impressive Backers (Founders Fund, Bessemer, Blackbird)
Have a great weekend, everyone!
